These terms are the end-user licence for Knotcraft. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where a mandatory consumer rule in your country says otherwise.
Knotcraft is a knot library and drill. It is not a verifier. It has no camera check, no accept/reject verdict, and no scoring of the knot in your hands. Life-safety uses are excluded.
Knotcraft is licensed, not sold. Nikah AI Ltd grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store or Google Play terms that also apply.
This app does not verify knots used for climbing, rope access, arboriculture, rescue or any other application where a failure could injure someone. Those are excluded deliberately. Always have a competent person check a life-safety knot.
That limitation is part of the product, not small print. You agree not to use Knotcraft as a substitute for instruction, a legal record, a measurement instrument, or a life-safety check.
Lifetime Pro is a one-time non-consumable purchase at £9.99. The app ships twelve knots and every one of them is free to read; six also have a free practice drill, and Lifetime Pro unlocks the drills for the remaining six.
Payments are processed by Apple or Google. Nikah AI Ltd never sees your card details. Restore purchases is available in Settings without buying again.
Refunds are requested from Apple or Google under their own rules; see the purchase and subscription terms.
If you are a UK consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel a digital-content purchase. The purchase screen asks you, before the Buy button will work, to tick a box agreeing to Lifetime Pro being unlocked straight away and acknowledging that you lose that 14-day right once it is unlocked. Your rights if the content is faulty (Consumer Rights Act 2015) are unaffected.
No account, no network (except the store)
You do not create an account with the operator. The app works offline. The only network it may open is the platform store: to read prices and check what you already own, and to buy or restore.
Do not use Knotcraft as a check of a life-safety knot, or for climbing, rope access, arboriculture, rescue or any other use where a failure could injure someone. Do not reverse, decompile or misrepresent the app as approved by a regulator.
Knotcraft is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nikah AI Ltd is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the app — including a knot you tied after reading or practising with it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where that limit would be unlawful in England and Wales.
For Knotcraft specifically: EU Product Liability Directive 2024/2853 applies strict liability to software placed on the market after 9 December 2026. That is one reason Knotcraft does not verify knots and excludes life-safety uses.
Knotcraft is a knot reference and drill. It is not directed at children under 13, and it is not for unsupervised children. A competent adult should be present whenever a knot is tied in a context that could matter.

We may update these terms in the app and at the URL below. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new terms.
